About us
Japan is an interesting consumer market, not only for the companies, but
for the consumers as well. A broad array of products from all over the
world, including the highly innovative Japanese electronic and digital

has been the physical and cultural isolation, preventing international
trading. Domestic dealers, lacking the language knowledge and logistics,
could not sell abroad, while the language was a big barrier for the people
willing to explore Japanese online shops. International trading has long
been a privilege of huge companies, resulting in higher prices and fewer
choice overseas.
When our partner company, DankeDankeCom, established an international shipping
service for transferring purchases domestic sellers would not send abroad,
they were astonished about the many foreig customers for a service aimed
mainly at Japanese. They learned that people from overseas were interested
in Japanese goods and try to get them from Japan ant their own initiative,
but obstacles remained: Communication, payment options and concerns about
international shipping. We decided to change this. JP-stores, a portal
